This is a scratch build of an reverse flow offset smoker from an old hot water expansion tank. The firebox is made from 1/4" mild steel plate. Inside the smoker is a baffle plate that makes this a reverse flow smoker, it keeps the cooking temperature much more stable and acts as a heat sink. It was designed from scratched and tweaked as I as I was building it.
So far it works really well, very happy with the final design.
