We love reusing old materials. When we discovered a stash of handmade 200yearold quarry tiles several years ago, we snapped them up not knowing how we’d use them. One look at our very underwhelming entry way in the Dower House and we knew we’d found the perfect home for them. The trouble is; after starting the project, we discover we don’t have enough to cover the entire area and there is no way to get more. Aghhh! And with our birthdays just one week apart and no time to celebrate, our respective attempts to surprise the other with a birthday cake don’t go as planned. Let’s just say we won’t be launching a cooking channel any time soon but maybe Comedy Central could use a new show?
