Early this summer I picked up this 1990 Trek Singletrack 950 fullrigid mountain bike from a thrift store, it was in decent shape but was pretty grimey and looked like everything on it was original. It definitely needed a good refresh, so I filmed the process of stripping it down, cleaning it, and building it back up with fresh parts. I tried to keep it as close to original as possible which resulted in replacing the tires/tubes, chain, brakes, cables/housing, grips, pedals, and seat

This was a super fun project! I had never done this kind of thing before with a bike, so I learned a ton throughout the process and I'm really happy with how the bike turned out! The frame fits me really well, it rides and shifts super smooth, and it has become my defacto commuter/afterwork joyride bike. I've put about 150 miles on it so far and it's been very reliable and capable, and I'm stoked to have given it another life!

The music I used was produced by me and is unreleased.
