After owning this for a year it suddenly started only rotating one way. It doesn’t matter if I am telling it to do a cleaning, leveling, or a reset. It only rotates counter clockwise.

I’ve turned it off/on, tried reset, tried with and without litter, cleaned the sensors, taken drum in and out.

I’ve reached out to PETKIT via phone (left a voicemail) and email in hopes to resolve the issue. This is the first issue I’ve had and have been really liking the litter box otherwise.

Support initially thought it was a software issue to be fixed, but then they just said they would replace the unit completely. I ended up getting a refund so I could get the Pura Max instead.

Thanks to Crystal Green for the tips on cleaning the sensor. That worked for me. Take the drum and bin out, turn the outer unit over and cleaning the sensors underneath with the wiring got the unit back working so far. It does sound like the motor or some part got extra wear/damage from the constant turning one direction so I still am waiting the replacement Pura Max.
