Picture Taken From Dropbox Without Permission | QOTD

Question of the Day: Is it possible to take a picture of from Dropbox? Someone exposed me. I’m still a minor and they did not get my permission.

I couldn’t tell if this person was worried that someone hacked into their Dropbox, was given unauthorized access from someone who had a link to the Dropbox, or if the person didn’t know that it’s possible to take copies of images from a Dropbox either by downloading them or taking screenshots. Regardless, this question makes me worried that someone took an image of a nude child and shared it with others, or that this might be a revenge porn situation.

I hope this person changed their password and/or reported the matter to Dropbox. If they want to better understand the legal implications, they should talk with a lawyer and/or law enforcement because these situations are largely based on statelevel laws.
