How might we understand the relationship between physics and human performance in aerial and aquatic environments?

Max F and Rianon T help us soar to new heights and push to new depths in their module on human performance. They highlight how their weeks studying trapeze and water safety informed them about such physics fundamentals as buoyancy, kinetic energy, acceleration, pressure, and more. Their presentation, bolstered by videos of the highs and lows (pun intended) of trapeze attempts, invites guests to try a trapeze bar out for themselves.

Modules are interdisciplinary classes led by TGS educators. They are at the core of the Changemaker Curriculum, demonstrating to students how to effectively design placebased, experiential projects that incorporate research, expert feedback, field experiences, and 21stcentury skill building.
