Kenzo W and Yosef M describe how their module investigated the Japanese approach to cultural conservation through architecture. They discuss architectural designs and their interaction with function, natural environmental systems, and innovative processes. Finally, they share two examples from fellow students about incorporating their home culture into their 2D and 3D designs.

Modules are interdisciplinary classes led by TGS educators. They are at the core of the Changemaker Curriculum, demonstrating to students how to effectively design placebased, experiential projects that incorporate research, expert feedback, field experiences, and 21stcentury skill building.
