The Need: A metal manufacturing facility needed to transport full rolls of aluminum as well as the empty mandrel utilized as the roll's core on the same conveyor line, ranging in size from 6" to 32" in diameter. The conveyor also needed to support the full roll of aluminum while the mandrel was removed.

The Solution: Omni Metalcraft Corp. provided a Slat Conveyor with angled slats designed to carry varying size rolls. A vshape was created with slats angled at 15 degrees to hold a full roll while the mandrel was removed from the core as well as hold the empty mandrel. Holes were provided on the slats allowing the customer to add their own fixtures. A heavy duty construction was provided to withstand product loading and unloading.
