It doesn't happen often but I was able to experience it bikes running the clockwise direction at NCCAR!

Tony's Track Days are based mainly in the north east of the country, however once a year they make an end of season trip to NCCAR in North Carolina. I had a blast running this direction with them! I found the chicane easier from this direction, but I think I prefer the rest of the track counter clockwise. I'll have a CCW lap up shortly so you can decide for yourself! And yes, I missshifted at the end of this lap I'm still getting used to my new Alpinestar boots!

NCCAR, short for North Carolina Center for Automotive Research, is located in Garysburg, North Carolina, in the northeastern part of the state. This track serves as a venue for automotive research, development, and testing. It has multiple configurations that make it perfect for everything from vehicle testing to car or motorcycle track days. The surface is incredibly grippy, and the track has a great mix of corner types. Lots of speed to be had on its very long front straight too!

I really enjoyed visiting this track; the facilities were amazing for RVers like us big spacious paddock, lots of power outlets, water and a dump station available. The staff, track marshals and volunteers there are friendly, accommodating and professionals in every way. I can't wait to go back!
