"Little Tally" might be a shorter track, but it's one of the most intensely fun ones I've ever ridden!

With my motorcycle back in full performance after the top end replacement, something really clicked for me at this track. By lunch time I had the track and lines pretty well memorized and starting to find my rhythm. The "right hander" was challenging, I still struggle with those decreasing radius style corners. Overall I felt more comfortable and confident in my ability to trail brake into the corners and get good drives on the exits. The Sportbike Track Time coaches were incredibly supportive and helpful. Thank you in particular to Wertz for all the encouragement and tips it really helped me build confidence as the day progressed!



Talladega GP Raceway, or "Little Tally" as the locals call it is located in Munford, Alabama. The track is a 1.41mile playground with a little bit of everything – short speedy straights, sweepers and a tight twisty right turn. Albeit a small track, it has plenty of run off to recover if things get dicey. The best part? You get to enjoy all this action in a beautiful setting with hills and greenery all around. It's a fantastic spot for some serious racing fun! The facilities include restrooms, showers, a classroom and plenty of parking space for RVs. It is very big rig friendly, with large paved pads and 20/30/50amp power.
