Falling in love with Siargao is not hard. Most people feel at home the moment they set foot on the island. Nadine Lustre @nadine is the latest to be bitten by the Siargao love bug.

Nadine’s affection for the island is not fleeting but comes with the commitment to protect, preserve, rebuild and call Siargao her home. And we at SEA Movement are happy to announce that Nadine is our latest #SeaMover who has agreed to adopt the Marine Protected Area (MPA) of General Luna, Siargao in partnership with @rare_org @rareorgph

General Luna is home to an already existing MPA, which plays a crucial role in the livelihood of coastal communities, food security and biodiversity conservation. But maintaining an MPA entails a great deal of financial and technical support. That is why we need your help to rehabilitate and sustain the management of the MPAs in Siargao.

Incidentally, today is the last day of National Ocean Month, let us be reminded that our love, commitment and celebration towards the environment must not be confined within just a month. Care for the environment should be unconditional, true and not bounded by terms. Keep the spirit alive by making a donation for the conservation of the MPAs of Siargao.
