Today I’m having my haircut and color (hair manicure) and introducing my new hairstylist Mr. Watanabe a native of Yokohama City, born and raised and never left. He is also the owner of Hair Voice where he has been the hairdresser for the past 30 years. I wish I could see a picture of what the place looked like when it was first opened.
Since we transfer here to Yokohama old friends of Papa Gu have been keeping in touch with him. But seeing Mr. Watanabe was a coincidence. One day papa Gu was strolling on his bicycle and passed by his salon, with just a glance he saw Mr. Watanabe and thought that he knows this guy. Papa Gu went down and asked him are you Mr. Watanabe Shinji? and he said yes who are you? Papa Gu said I'm Noguchi Hideo your classmate in high school, and the rest is history I am looking forward to meeting him after that. so the first time I met him I was very pleased and impressed with his style of cutting my hair. I first posted my first haircut and color on TikTok and I asked him if I can feature him on youtube so here is the video. If you want to try his styling, please do. He is very good, I guess the thirty years of experience is enough no need to elaborate on his skills. By appointment only.
