We loved Hai Kah Lang's fish head soup when @smashpop introduced it to us, we had to go back and try it again. We went to the Petaling Jaya location for lunch. There was a bit of a queue, but it moved fast, there's also 2 big fans that kept us cool while waiting. We also were able to look at the menu while waiting and put in our order, which saved as time once we sat down.

There were 3 soup base to choose from and on our first visit we were able to try all. There's the clear soup, a milk soup, and a tomato soup. They're all delicious, depending on your taste. Our favorite is the Tomato base soup, or tomyam flavor which had a nice spicy but enjoyable kick to it. You can choose from their menu, or create your own soup with your chosen soup base, seafood or fish options, and the type of noodle you want.

For today, we had the milk soup with mixed fish fillet, and mihun thick noodle. We also ordered the tom yam with mixed seafood, and wantan mee noodles. We ordered the fried bean curd for side dish, which was good, and best enjoyed while still hot. For drinks we ordered the hainan kopi which is a coffee and tea combo, and Milk tea. We liked the hainan kopi mixed drink, which was nicely balanced. Our total for everything was 76 RM or $15.83 USD.

Not usually a fan of fish soup, but this dish is definitely a favorite, and something we would eat frquently.
