I had a blast meeting @mother_of_Dalmatians_ today! She came to my house all the way from Tennessee to hangout with me today. We played with my 9 Dalmatian puppies from Blue and Violet. She even helped me feed and clean up after them! Something she's so used too! She was so down to earth and just an amazing animal lover. We decided to make this video for you to answer some questions about Dalmatians and to introduce you to Mother of Dalmatians who has 5 Dalmatians herself and breeds her family Dalmatians. Her Dalmatians are raised in the house with 3 kids and have the best life ever.
In this video we talk about the health issues that Dalmatians can have which are bladder stones (Urate stones) and they are prone to being deaf. There is hearing test done called a Baer Test which needs to be performed by a Veterinary neurologist to let you know if your puppy has perfect hearting or not. If they are deaf in one ear, this puppy will be a great pet still but they will have delayed reaction times to when you call them. They also may look around to find you because they do not know what direction the sound is coming from. Dalmatian need a special diet. I recommend Royal Canin Dalmatian diet, but you can also feed them 1/2 vegetarian diets mixed with normal kibble. Just make sure to talk to your breeder or veterinarian about the right diet for your Dalmatian.
