As my time in Nairobi, Kenya wound to a close, I headed out on one final adventure before making our way to Mombasa on the country’s southeast coast.

Joining me were my guide Obed from Kumbukumbu Tours and my friend and cameraman Tasos.

STREET FOOD: As we waited for a flight to Mombasa, we enjoyed a street food breakfast of wild cabbage, chai, intestines, beef with tomatoes, ugali, and white beans with sliced chapatis soaked in the tomatorich bean gravy. The chapatis were my favorite!

MASAI MARKET WORKSHOP: In this phenomenal workshop, the owners sell handcrafted goods including statues, sculptures made from ebony, masks, jewelry, decorative plates, and even Maasai clothing!

KENYATTA INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTER: Here, we went up to the 27th floor, which is the rooftop observation deck. You can see the entire city from up there, and the views are incredible!
