In this video I will be showing you the process of making some quick change tool holders for the quick change tool post on the mini lathe. I made the quick change tool post on the mill last year, and at the same time I made 6 tool holders, which as it turns out, is not enough. Making these tool holders is a pretty straight forward process. I'll machine it from from 300 Grade mild steel. I'll make tool holders for regular lathe tools, and a tool holder for holding baring bars and parting tools. I filmed this back in late January, just after I got the flood coolant set up, so I was still learning the speeds and feeds for using coolant.
