I worked really hard on my most recent animated short, "Redone" and I really wanted to create a sort of "makingof" mini documentary based around its production. I went out into the world, took pictures of nature and wildlife for reference, and even created a sketchbook full of my ideas, concepts and doodles. This really helped me explore my creativity and really helped shape the short.
It was a long and adventurous process but it drastically improved the final product. It turned what would have been just another video in my library to one of my favourite creations.
I doubt I could manage a process like this for every short, considering how timeconsuming it became but it was a pretty fantastic and creative journey.

I will do it again; next time a project really catches my interest like this one did.
