The London Marathon, all training weeks and mileage since the end of November has led me and Naomi to here. The London Marathon start line, the London Marathon weekend. The bigger picture, it's been the marathon block of a lifetime. A strong patch of form for both of us, confidence at an alltime high and itching, ready to get going on race day.

This is an extra extended episode of what has become known as Cookie's Rambles, embracing the full weekend with us as we build, travel and do all things towards the London Marathon, whether it's taking a hot plate to Luton, travelling with a toaster to London, our discount sushi or bumping into a professional photographer on a shake out run around Tower Bridge. We visited the expo, met up with friends, rested, recovered and made the start line giving ourselves the best possible opportunity to perform when the 'gun' goes. We are here, we might as well do ourselves justice. Digging deep when the time comes, bringing ourselves back from the brink. Will it or won't it be a personal best?

We did managed to finish 48th and 25th, male and female across the line; but hunting for a super fast time is what we're all about today!

We both boast first marathon times of over 4 hours, just how much can we take off our first marathons today.
