The analysis you were most waiting for. Blade Runner 2049 is one of the best science fiction films of this century, with a striking visual, just winner of the Oscars for Best Visual Effects and Best Photography.

We are set in the postapocalyptic version of California, in the year 2049, led by detective KD6 3.7, played magnificently by the great Ryan Gosling. In the film, humans live with more technology and more development, with tremendous flying cars, impressive buildings, but with much less life, with much less joy than in times past.

K is anonymous, he is someone who goes unnoticed or worse than that, he is marginalized. But the movie threatens us all the time that this character is special, and that draws a parallel with us if we get a little emos and pessimistic. We believe that we are special, that we are unique, that we are going to change the world, but in reality we are like K, whose illusion suddenly falls away, like a bucket of frozen water he finds out the reality: that he is not the chosen one, that he was not raised with love, that he was born as an adult and his memories were implanted.

Finally a sequel that is well done. Let us remember that this film directed by Denis Villeneuve is a sequel to the Blade Runner from the 1980s directed by Ridley Scott and starring Harrison Ford.

Stay until the end because after the story of the film we are going to leave you some reflections that will give you food for thought for a whole week.
