Shutter Island is another of Martin Scorsese's gems. #LeoDiCaprio looks at a spectacular level. Also the performances of #MarkRuffalo #MichelleWilliams and #BenKingsley are EXCELLENT.

The script is a crazy thing: like Fight Club, this is a movie that you have to see it at least 2 times obligatorily.

Basically it is about a policeman who is going to investigate the disappearance of a psychiatric patient on a remote island, where the inmates were also imprisoned for having committed serious crimes and being highly dangerous.

How far is the mind able to go in order to protect us?

The way in which the evolution of psychiatry has been approached throughout history seems impeccable to me, touching on topics such as psychosurgery, psychopharmacology or psychodrama.

This is the type of movies that we like to analyze on the channel, movies that leave you thinking, that teach you, that make you want to continue investigating, and that every time you watch them again you discover something more.
