What are the differences of life in California vs Florida? Having been born and raised in California and then moving to Florida as a teenager, I share my experiences of life in California vs life in Florida. Currently, I have enjoyed living in Florida for the past 38+ years, and reveal why I believe so many people move to Florida under a "false illusion" and then eventually leave our state. Having lived in Carmel, Monterey, Walnut Creek, Antioch and Santa Barbara, California, I am thankful for all my experiences of what life in California is like, compared to my life now in Florida.
