I left California, moved to Florida and now share my story of what happened after that. Having been born and raised in California, leaving California to move to Florida was life changing. There were many strong pluses and negatives about moving to Florida. This all happened when I was a teenager. Today, I have lived in Florida for the past 38+ years. In that time I became a fulltime real estate agent (right out of high school) and have now been in real estate sales profession for the past 35+ years. I have helped many people that have also left California to move to Florida during my career, however I have never seen the high volume of transplants from California to Florida as I have seen in the past two years.
