We are visiting the farm today! Join us in exploring the farm house, meeting the animals and singing with the friends we meet. Grab some shakers and a drum if you have them!

At the farm today we are learning colors, farm animals and counting! We explore prepositions and “wh” concepts “where” and “who” as we play hide and seek. We use eggs shakers and drums to practice beat keeping, anticipation and prediction, as well as singing some of our favorite songs and fingers plays! We can't wait for you to join us on our farm adventure!

Perhaps you’ve visited a farm together, or seen a cow or a horse? Maybe you have a book with farm animals or some toys use the strategies shown in our video at home to help your child make connections between this video and their real experiences!

Jiggle Jam’s toddler learning series aims to show parents and caregivers ways to promote language through play and musical learning. Jiggle Jam creator Ms Catherine has a Bachelor in classical music and runs an awardwinning toddler music program in Western Australia. The inperson and online programs use play, fun and adventure to teach musical concepts such as rhythm, pitch, and a life long love of music to toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarten age children. This latest Jiggle Jam series has been created in conjunction with a speech pathologist, Ms Hannah. Hannah has experience in early intervention, speech, language and coaching families on how to promote language skills and provide enriched environments during play and daily activities.

We know that the evidence suggests limiting screen time for toddlers and infants and at Jiggle jam we agree… nothing is better for language development than adult interactions with their favorite people throughout the day! You are always your child’s best teacher, their favorite rockstar and VIP teaparty guest. But play doesn’t come naturally to many adults and we want to give you some tools to support your child’s language development and enhance their love of music.

If you are choosing screen time for your family, we want to be able to offer high quality programming that you can (and want to!) engage with! As with all screen time this won’t replace speech therapy if your child needs professional support. But it will provide a fun, musical adventure for you and your child! Our videos follow a slow pace, lower stimulation animations, real life images and toys to help create these connections. We want children to be engaging with our videos, so you will see invitations for action at home, gestures, turntaking, expectant pause and a lot of silliness!
