A bolt on our 2001 Land Rover Discovery spare tire carrier broke off. 2/3 bolts didn't seem safe enough so we bought a Terrafirma to replace it. This video shows how to remove the tire carrier, remove the rear inside panel of the back door to access the bolts and reattach the new Terrafirma spare tire carrier (that didn't go as smoothly as expected).
