Knee Pain Exercises - How To Improve Functional Stability Of The Ankle Knee u0026 Hip

This is a quick video looking at how you could create a simple workout of a handful of key exercises to improve the functional stability of the ankle, knee and hip. I show you how to structure the exercises in a certain order to assist the body with learning how to more effectively align and move joints together in a basic squat movement pattern. By placing a big focus on mobility and stability the danger of more damage to the knee is drastically reduced allowing you to make mistakes and be able to learn from them in preparation for more intense strengthening exercises. This is a big part of rehabilitation training that is often skipped in preference for strengthening of isolated muscles. I have found much better results with strengthening exercises after completing a lot of these type of drills for a period of time first. The strength of a muscle is not always the problem, it is how the muscles interact with each other in specific movements that usually is and this video shows you several examples of this in action.
