Kali ini saya akan kongsikan resepi kek buah bakar yang lembut, lembap dan kayadengan rasa buah campuran dan gula hangus. Saya menggunakan pati oren sunquick untuk resepi ini, berbeza sedikit dengan resepi kek buah bakar yang pernah saya kongsikan sebelum ini yang menggunakan jus oren segar. Cara membuatnya juga mudah, sesuai dihidangkan untuk minum petang atau pelbagai jamuan.

GULA HANGUS :
90 gm gula pasir halus/ gula kastor | 1/3 cawan + 1.5 sudu besar + 1/2 sudu teh
125 ml air panas | 1/2 cawan

ADUNAN KEK :
250 gm mentega bergaram (lembut) / marjerin | 1 cawan & 2 sudu besar
100 gm gula pasir halus / gula kastor | 1/2 cawan
1/8 sudu teh garam
5 biji telur gred A
1 sudu teh esen vanilla
80 gm susu pekat manis | 4 sudu besar
45 gm pati oren Sunquick | 3 sudu besar
330 gm tepung gandum | 2 & 2/3 cawan
9 gm baking powder | 3 sudu teh
415 gm buah campuran | 2 & 3/4 cawan
65 gm tepung gandum | 1/2 cawan

Loyang : 8x8x3 inci

SUHU MEMBAKAR : 165℃, 60 ke 70 minit, api atas bawah, rak bawah, atau sehingga lidi pencucuk bersih jika dicucuk di tengah kek. Ketuhar dipanaskan 15 minit.

This time I made moist and soft baked version of fruit cake. I added golden syrup and I used Sunquick orange to add tangy flavor to the cake. This recipe is slightly different from my previous baked fruit cake recipe which I used fresh orange juice. This fruit cake is easy to make, and perfect to be enjoyed for your tea time and for many occasions.

GOLDEN SYRUP :
90 gm caster sugar/ fine granulated sugar | 1/3 cup + 1.5 tbsp @Tspqg7lp+ 1/2 tsp
125 ml hot water | 1/2 cup

CAKE BATTER :
250 gm softened salted butter/ margarine | 1 cup & 2 tbsp
100 gm caster sugar/ fine granulated sugar | 1/2 cup
1/8 tsp salt
5 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
80 gm sweetened condensed milk | 4 tbsp
45 gm Sunquick orange | 3 tbsp
330 gm all purpose flour | 2 & 2/3 cups
9 gm baking powder | 3 tsp
415 gm mixed fruits | 2 & 3/4 cups
65 gm all purpose flour | 1/2 cup

Baking pan : 8x8x3 inches

BAKING TEMPERATURE : 165℃, 60 to 70 minutes, top & bottom heat mode at lower rack, or until inserted cake tester/ bamboo skewer comes out clean. Oven preheated for 15 minutes.
