A review of the JayJay's Beast Bergen.

I have used this pack for six months now, and the Jungle Bergen (the predecessor of the Beast) for over six years.This military spec rucksack is a bombproof, quality bit of kit that comes with a lifetime guarantee.

The pack is mounted on a 1606 frame, which has been strenuously drop tested in the USA, and provides great stability to carry huge loads. The frame also enables the pack to sit off your back, creating airflow and preventing prickly heat in tropical environments.

It offers great organisation, with seven external pockets, plus a purpose designed internal mesh pocket for your wet/dry kit (also useful for a radio or other items). It also features zips to fit PLCE side pockets to further increase the load carrying capacity.

It has a capacity of 125 litres, weighs 3.6 kg, and is available in Multicam and Tan.
