Isle Royale is a National Park that is located on an island in the middle of Lake Superior and is only accessible by boat or plane. I spent 9 days alone backpacking on this remote hiking destination. It was the trip of a lifetime. 900 moose and 30 wolves live on the island along with many other animals. From lakeside campsites to mountain top vistas to animal encounters, Isle Royale is all that I hoped for.
