In this video, I am going to show you how I build an alternative to the very popular flipcart stand. I have been needing to build a tool base to house tools in one footprint for quite some time. I needed something that would allow me to utilize both tools at the same time if necessary, so this is what I came up with. The larger stand is compact, but big enough and strong enough to handle the weight of the Dewalt dw735x thickness planer. The smaller stand utilizes a motorcycle lift, which allows you to raise the tool to a comfortable working height. When it is not in use, it can be lowered and tucked back into the larger tool stand.
