In this video I show you how to stop on ice while skating backwards. It's a little bit more difficult then when skating forward but many concepts stay the same!
We start with three options, beginning with the easiest and progressing from there:
1. Backward snowplow
2. Backward onefoot snowplow
3. Backward hockey stop

After explaining all three variations I show you multiple camera angle of stopping in slow motion, so that you can see how your blades need to work in order to do a really good stop!
