I made a dress for the OSCARS! Up-cycling an old ASOS dress into a red carpet gown in FOUR DAYS...

Guyyyssss! My friend went to the Oscars and asked me to make her dress for her! I still can't believe it! Enjoy watching me make this for her in just four days (because time was of the essence and there's nothing like the last minute!), it was a lot of fun!

As always I made the entire thing from preexisting/second hand materials because I'm a resourceful queen and I love the planet. :)
Original dress: Second hand (donated by a friend), ASOS dress
Chiffon fabric: I bought second hand
Beaded applique's: Vintage, from an old theatre costume
Lace: From a damaged old dress
Poppy: Had this in my drawer for years, I don't even remember where it came from
Beads: Same as above
Extra flowers: From a second hand fascinator. (Don't worry, I'll reuse the fascinator at some point I've no doubt!)
