Welcome to Meg Lara Atelier, the place where I like to create magic from the mundane! I'm Meg, a costume designer and maker based in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside in the UK. I specialise in creating beautiful costumes and clothing from second hand materials, inspired by all things, history, fantasy and most importantly, sustainability. When I'm not in my studio creating, you can probably find me foraging for mushrooms in the woods, or dancing on the moors somewhere, like the whimsical weirdo I am! I created this channel as a place to share my costuming projects, as well as some behind the scenes of my many other interests. They say that when you create a channel you should 'niche' down as much as you can, but I have so many things I want to share with the world, so here you can find a magical mix of costuming projects, tutorials & studio vlogs, with a sprinkling of other whimsical bits and bobs!
