In this episode, Kenny is called to take our #8 Wester Star, with Vulcan V70 heavy tow and recovery unit, to tow and truck with a loaded, frameless, enddump trailer, then the customer decides to slightly change plans. They decide they want to repower the load, which means they want to put a good, running power unit, truck, road tractor, whatever you want to call it, under the load so they can finish delivering the load. However, with this style of trailer and the type of "drop legs" it has on it, it isn't safe to drop the trailer. The drop legs aren't designed to hold a loaded trailer, SO, the customer calls us to bring the Rotator up to lift and hold the loaded trailer while Kenny pulls the inoperable truck out from under the trailer and the good power unit connects to the the trailer. This may seem like a simple task, but it is far from it, and if done incorrectly can cause serious damage to equipment or personnel. I hope you all enjoy this video!!!
