Hey Everyone. I wanted to share some of the struggles I go through having social anxiety. Hopefully this will help you understand me a bit better and also help bring some awareness to this condition. Being shy and having social anxiety can be similar in many ways but one main difference is that social anxiety is more extreme and can interfere with normal life functions.
There are more aspects to social anxiety but I didn't want to ramble on too much. I can discuss it more in the future. Right now I am too anxious to speak on camera but I hope to be able to do it. I have to consider though if I want to take that step not just because of my anxiety but other reasons as well.
I have issues with both my parents but mostly with my mother. She has always been cold and critical and continues to be so. Not easy to feel unloved and forgotten since I was a child but I am trying to learn from the mistakes of my parents and I hope not to repeat them.
