Hi I'm Tiffany with Headcovers.com and today I'm going to show you how to tie a scarf with a scrunchie. I'm wearing our meridian beanie to provide body and fullness under the headscarf and it has pleating around the sides and light padding on top. Most of our headscarves come with matching scrunchies and this is our cotton woodblock headscarf and we have our oblong batik headscarf in tie dye. If your scarf doesn’t have a scrunchie that is included you can use any hair tie or scrunchie that you’d like. I’m going to start with our rectangular headscarf and you’ll want to take the edge and fold it in to hide the seam. You’ll take the folded edge and place it along the hairline and then gather the ends over to the side. And then you can grab the scrunchie and pull it around the ends. To tighten the scarf, you can take the ends and pull them or you can push the scrunchie up. And as you can see it’s just like tying a ponytail in your hair. Next I’ll show you how to do it with a square headscarf. First you’ll take two opposite corners and put them together to make a triangle. For the look you’ll take the folded edge and you can either tie this in the back or on the side. To tie it to the back you’ll place the folded edge and place in on the hairline and center it. For today’s look I’m going to show tying it on the side and you’ll line it up on an ear. You’ll gather all of the ends again and pull them to the side and you’ll take your scrunchie and just loop it through. Again, you can tighten it by taking the ends and pulling them or moving the scrunchie up, and this is the final look. For our final look I’m going to take the same folded triangle and place it over one ear again. You’ll gather all the ends over to one side and take your scrunchie and loop it through once, and for our second loop, you’ll just stop halfway through and you can fluff it out. And this is our last look. If you like this video, make sure to give it a thumbs up and subscribe and let us know in the comments if you’ll be using a square or a rectangle headscarf. We’ll see you in the next video!
