Today I'll be showing how to test and replace a VTEC solenoid valve or VTEC oil pressure switch. Trouble code P1259 is simply a malfunction within the VTEC system. Together we will check the valve, wiring and mechanical wear. If you complete all of the tests shown in this video and continue to have trouble the next logical step is checking the oil pressure.
