Whether you just bought new cycling shoes or you just want to ensure your cleats are in the best position for YOU, this video is going to help you properly install your cleats for YOUR BEST RIDE! This howto will walk you step by step on how to install cycling cleats in the correct position to prevent toe numbness, ensure you have proper support, and provide maximum power in your peddle stroke for your most comfy and powerful cycling ride yet!

This cleat install video will help you determine the best fore/aft position of your cleats, as well as any angle adjustments you may need to make!

In this video I am installing Shimano SPD cleats on my Shimano IC5 indoor cycling shoes, but this video will also help if you have SPDSL cleats on your outdoor cycling shoes!

What you need for your cleat install will be painter’s or masking tape, a marker, straight edge, 4mm hex key, and grease (if you are using your shoes outside).

This is a quick process and it will make a huge difference in your ride! Remember, a little adjustment goes along way and you may have to give it a few tries until you get your cleat just so!

If you are interested in having your own pair of Shimano Indoor shoes or just want to save a few bucks on cleats, you can use code KCF15 at checkout at Shimano Indoor here! https://bit.ly/3vN5F2S
