I now present to you my totally simple yet amazingly delicious Ghana style meatpie. This is very similar to empanadas. I am so proud of this recipe and I know you will be too. Try it and do let me know how it went


Ingredients for filling:
2 lb ground beef
400 grams potatoes
500 grams onion
150 grams carrot
1 stock cube
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon grated ginger
1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Ingredients for crust
500 grams all purpose flour (approximately 3 1/2 cups)
1/2 lb (1 cup or 2 sticks) butter. Your may also use margarine
3/4 cups milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt.
