Whether enjoyed on its own or paired with tangy pickles or zesty sauerkraut, this meal is a delicious voyage into culinary satisfaction.

Ingredients:
* 375 grams of ground beef (13.23 ounces)
* 375 grams of pasta (13.23 ounces) (preferably hard varieties)
* 1 onion
* 34 cloves of garlic
* Several bay leaves
* 0.5 teaspoons of turmeric and oregano
* Salt and pepper to taste
* Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions:
* The key step is to brown the ground beef to create flavourful crusts. Heat a skillet well and add the ground beef. Simultaneously, heat another skillet and add the onion. It's recommended to fry them separately to ensure the onions are well caramelized. Stir the ground beef well while cooking to ensure it's evenly crumbled. If needed, add a little water to the onions to prevent burning.
* Cook the pasta according to package instructions. For every litre of water, add one teaspoon of coarse salt. It's advisable to cook pasta in plenty of water; the more water, the better. Cook the pasta for 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain the water, and don't rinse the pasta to preserve its sticky surface, which helps the meat adhere to it.
* Add the caramelized onions to the cooked meat and stir well
* Add garlic, turmeric, oregano, salt and pepper and pour in some of the pasta water.
* Simmer the mixture over low heat for 57 minutes. The ground beef becomes very tender in the flavourful sauce.
* Some recipes call for adding butter, but if you prefer a lighter dish, you can skip it.
* Mix the pasta with the cooked ground beef very thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
* Serve and enjoy! This dish is often enjoyed with pickles or sauerkraut.

Enjoy your meal!
