Easy, Tasty, and Light: How to Make ButterLight Baked Meatballs

Ingredients:
For the meatballs:
* 1.5 kg ground beefpork
* 3 medium onions (about 450 g)
* 1 cup rice
* 1/2 cup bread crumbs
* 3/4 cup heavy cream (33% fat)
* 1 tablespoon paprika
* 2 eggs
* 1/3 teaspoon dried garlic
* 1 tablespoon herbs: tmin, basilic, parsley
* Smoked paprika
* Parsley
* 23 tablespoons ketchup
* Vegetable oil
* Salt and pepper
For the gravy:
* 2 cups crushed canned tomatoes
* 4 cups water
* 1.5 tablespoons butter
* 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
* 2 tablespoons flour
* 1 teaspoon sugar
* 1 tbsp herbs: tmin, basilic, parsley
* Salt

Instructions:
Preparing the meatballs:
* Finely chop the onions and sauté them in a pan with a little vegetables oil until golden brown.
* Salt and pepper by taste. Let them cool.
* Measure out 1 cup of rice and add it to a pan.
* Cover the rice with 2 cups of water.
* Bring the water to a boil, then let it simmer for 2 minutes.
* Remove the pan from heat and rinse the rice with cold water.
* Allow the rice to drain and set it aside.
* In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, sautéed onions, cooked rice, bread crumbs, heavy cream, paprika, eggs, dried garlic, herbs, smoked paprika, allspice, parsley, ketchup, salt, and pepper. Mix well until you have a homogeneous mixture.
* Form small balls (meatballs) from the mixture, each about the size of a walnut.

Preparing the gravy:
* In a saucepan, melt the butter and vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the flour and stir until a golden paste forms.
* Add the tomato and water into the saucepan with the butter and flour, stirring constantly.
* Add sugar, herbs, and salt to taste. Cook over medium heat until the gravy thickens, stirring occasionally.

* Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
* Place the meatballs on a baking sheet, leaving some space between each one. Pour the gravy over the meatballs.
* Place the baking sheet with the meatballs in the oven and bake for about 3040 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and golden brown.
* Serve the meatballs with rice and gravy, garnished with parsley if desired.
