Real Estate is one of the best hedges against inflation. Is now the time to buy, hold, or sell? I go through historical inflation, interest rates, affordability, and how real estate prices have been affected by all of these things. Basically, if you want to buy a house and hold on to it for the long run, you're in the clear to buy. If you want to buy a house and hold for the short run, you're probably still ok due to housing shortages. When inflation hits, debtors are the best off because the money they borrow is preinflation; whereas the debts they pay off are post inflationary currency. This means if you lock in your purchase today and owe $100, in 5 years when everything is up 5x, you can easily pay off your purchase because your ability to get $100 has also increased 5x. It's a story, not an actuality, I hope :)
