Some places should remain secret. If not totally secret...actively protected. Come with me to one of these secret places to the hidden coasts of Maine. Leia and I camped off grid for nearly two weeks in a small campground on the coast of Maine. I made both medium format and ultra large format photographs with the Hasselblad 500 C/M and of course the 11x14 ultra large format camera made by Richard Ritter. In this episode I'll show you the beginning to end photographic process of shooting with a 11x14 ultra large format camera (Eastwood) on the Atlantic coast of Maine as well as how I developed the black and white film using caffenol. Finally, you can see my making silvergelatin contact prints and also cyanotype printing from those negatives in my mobile darkroom (The Hive).

It's a beginning to end photographic process of old fashioned photography in the traditional way. And yes, I was asked by multiple locals (who were very kind and welcoming) to not disclose the exact location shown here; requests I gladly honor.
