For some, their profession is a way of life. Never saying no to an animal in need, this practicing veterinarian has over 30 pets, including a pack of Saluki dogs.

Salukis are one of the oldest breeds of dog known to have trekked across the deserts, the Silk Road, and many landscapes throughout Arabia and Mesopotamia. These dogs were the constant companions of Arabs who used them for hunting. Even to this day, it is the only breed of dog that an Arab would allow into his home such is their connection with this breed.

Their newest landscape? Tropical Malaysia. Living in the Shah Alam district of Selangor, Hasnul Ismail is a proud owner of 14 Saluki dogs, ranging in age from a few weeks to six years old.
