Battle Guide

On 28th March 1942 600 sailors and elite commandos led a daring raid against one of the most heavily defended ports in occupied Europe. Their mission? To infiltrate SaintNazaire and destroy the Normandie Drydock, the only facility large enough to repair the German battleship Tirpitz. That raid, known as Operation Chariot, whilst costly, did achieve its objective, and has gone down in history as one of the most famous raids of WW2.
