The concert "So schön wie heut" with Götz Alsmann, Caroline Kiesewetter, the WDR Funkhausorchester and the WDR Big Band under the baton of Jochen Neuffer celebrates the sounds of 1950s Germany. A time of new beginnings for the newly born Federal Republic of Germany the dream of a good life, a nice house in the country and vacations in the south were also reflected in the music. Recorded live on 17.11.2023 in the Kölner Philharmonie.
