The WDR BIG BAND and Mike Mainieri (vibraphone) perform the concert "Looking Back Moving On: Mainieri`s Continuum" together under the direction of chief conductor Bob Mintzer. Mike Mainieri is known to many jazz fans as the musical mastermind behind the musical band "Steps Ahead." The arrangements for this concert are by Bob Mintzer. Recorded at the Kölner Philharmonie in May 2017.
