We found out that our last Briggs and Stratton 5 horsepower flathead engine was already built, with an aftermarket piston, billet rod, high lift camshaft, and more. We still wanted to build a Briggs and Stratton engine for a mini bike! So, we started with a bare Briggs and Stratton block, made DIY performance mods to it for better airflow in the intake and exhaust runners, and assembled an engine.
