FiTech Tuning: Exhaust Popping

Nashville Early Bronco

Fixing the popping under deceleration! A while ago I installed the fitech go street EFI on my 1975 Ford bronco and I have loved it. But one of the annoying things is that popping sound when you let off on the throttle.

Buy the FiTech here: https://amzn.to/2WZBRPv
*NOTE: If you buy a FiTech from Amazon, buy it from FITech, not a third party or FiTech will not be under warranty if something goes wrong*

To fix this, in your hand held controller go to:
•Go EFI Tuning
•Fuel Cut Control

"DCel cut map" is when the fitech cuts the fuel off under deceleration.

"DCel return" is when it begins to put fuel back in the system under deceleration.

DCel cut MAP: default is 25
DCel return map: default is 27

Fitech says on a stock cam, a good cut is around 18, and a good return is around 20. The lower the number, the more vacuum is required to shut the fuel off under deceleration.
