FINALLY Bought A Classic Bronco! Did I Score A Deal?

Garage Topics

First car I ever drove or worked on was a 1974 Ford Bronco my Dad had. Regrettably it was sold in 2008 for pennies on the dollar compared to their current prices. I've looked at 10+ examples of classic Broncos over the years and the prices were always slightly out of reach based on trying to find an example that ran and drove and needed some light rust work. I recently sold my Corvette to pursue a Bronco, but it was sold on my way to go pick it up. I gave up the hunt because it was exhausting and not fun.
Facebook marketplace will randomly show you listings (pros and cons to this) and I found this 1973 Ford Bronco at 6pm on Wednesday without even looking. It had posted a few minutes ago and was in Nashville, with a price that I thought was "scammy". Leaving my phone number resulted in an immediate call back, confirming this was a real deal. This Bronco is nearly identical in features and options to the one I grew up with. Knowing all my prior experiences trying to buy Broncos, I was in person looking at the Bronco at 9:30pm the same night, leaving a deposit. I came back Friday to pick it up.
