NEW Classic Ford Bronco: FULL Carbon Fibre + 600bhp

Follow
Top Gear

This is the pure electric Zero Labs Ford Bronco Carbon Edition, a vintage Bronco with a nextgen electric drivetrain, and there hasn’t been much skimping going on. There’s a 100kWh battery, 235mile range, dual motors for allwheel drive, and a notinconsequential 600bhp.

The suspension has been junked and replaced with the very best independent gear, the brakes now work rather than lightly suggesting slowdown and every nut, bolt and washer has been replaced.

And that’s not even the special bit. A traditional Bronco would be pressed steel… this one is made of lightweight carbon fibre. But all that attention to detail doesn’t come cheap the carbon edition weighs in at upwards of $450,000 dollars. Which would make anyone cough.

Top Gear Magazine’s Tom Ford heads to the West Coast to meet up with the creator of Zero Labs, Adam Roe, to take this rather special Bronco for a spin.
